Heres's how it works:
The only requirement to send money home is that your recipient has to have an e-mail address. The rest is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3.
1. You load your SoftPay account with the approximate value of the funds you wish to send. Pay over the phone option, speak to a live SoftPay Money Transfer agent, or pay directly into our SoftPay bank account.
2. When your payment has been accepted and your account credited, you can then log in to your SoftPay account at any time, any day, any where and send any amount at no extra cost to any body any where in Nigeria as long as they've got an e-mail address. Even if they do not have a SoftPay account.
3. The recipients SoftPay account is instantly credited and a 'Money waiting' notification e-mail is sent out to them. All that they have to do is to log in to their own SoftPay account and follow the withdrawal process.
The money can be cashed over the counter or paid directly into their Bank account how ever they choose.
N.B. If you wish to send money to someone who does not have a SoftPay account you can still send money to their e-mail address and the recipient will get an email telling them what to do.
All they have to do is to sign up for a SoftPay account with that e-mail address and they will see the money waiting there.
They can then click 'WITHDRAW MONEY' to get paid.
